Wedding Center

The charming and historic Stevens Chapel is available to rent for your wedding or ceremony of holy union. And, if/should you wish, our Minister, The Reverend Jill Cowie, is also available to create and perform a wedding ceremony that will be uniquely your own.

Our intimate chapel seats up to 110, and has witnessed many marriages over the 160 years since it was first built. Many of these wedding ceremonies have been for couples of differing faiths or alternate lifestyles who were looking for a place of acceptance and welcome. Others have wanted a "church wedding" of a spiritual nature, but one not associated with a particular faith, and found that the Unitarian Universalist Church could provide that for them. Still others have simply been charmed by the chapel’s still quiet beauty, its soft golden filtered light and sense of "Island history".

You may wish to take advantage of our bed and breakfast program to house your guests.
